3AW Pub of the Week
Didn't think I would see this one come to life, but good publicans Paul and Tony ensure that the former York Butter factory in the shadow of the south tower of the Rialto operates smoothly. In essence one area, but large enough to make your space and enjoy solid, down to earth pub grub. Very comfy chairs with the menu in the high teens-low $20s bracket. No entrees, but calamari is very good as was the spaghetti, italian sausage, and olives special ($18). Good beer, wine list doesn't vary from the norm but a Matua S/B for $30 was very fair. We need more like this in the CBD.

SPRING RACING CARNIVAL
Now that the footy is over its time to look ahead to the Spring Carnival and at the NYT we will be running a few promotions in the next few weeks including the Cup exacta Sweep. Come in and book your chance to have a win on the big race on that first Tuesday.
